Impact of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on medical students and faculty members: A cross-sectional study from Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia

Introduction: During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all prospective of life have been affected by situation. As a result which, many universities adopted online way teaching instead traditional classroom or blending both together. This study was carried out with objective to assess perception teachers and students regarding classes taken versus those in classroom. Materials Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional among faculty members medical college at Majmaah University, KSA, from October 2020 April 2021. Results: The found that majority disagreed (91%) were more effective than mode, overall for classroom, 62% agreed better whereas 38% disagreed; 61% 39% disagreed. Conclusion: Educational institutions should be ready handle pandemic-like situations without disrupting educational activities achieve this, appropriate training make also minimise any associated disturbing factors.
